Look at the drivers seat... looks like the safest place to have been in this case.

Luck of the draw. Back seats are safer most of the time.Look at the drivers seat... looks like the safest place to have been in this case.
That is aweful![]()
Not in this case thoughLuck of the draw. Back seats are safer most of the time.
Hectic - not a good idea topping 160 with kids in the back.
Why do people race on public roads. Stupid. It is easy enough to ask local municipality for a race day permit I would think. Cordon off a small lesser used street for some fun in an industrial zone or something once a month. Municipality would be stupid not to allow it. Organize something proper. Sheesh!
Anyway suppose this is just my view but wonder whether anyone else thinks the same way?
Exactly. Or are you a Mbeki fan who prefers quite diploacy LancelotSA?If fun is made about it (not saying it is done here), then I agree. If those photos can give someone else a wake-up call? Why not share it, to open up someone's eyes...
Else the same can be said about that flattened mini the Arrive Alive campaign has.

Lol. Thats not very nice! You should be saying "Damn what a pity that thay accident happened" not "Thank goodness no one else was killed" Sicko!I can tell you now that the emails I get sent are not sent to teach anyone a lesson. These photos are sent more as a "geez check this mangled wreck out". The same way you get those ones of people breaking bones etc in sport. They are sent to shock, not teach.
Can I tell you something that does cross my mind? If these people were racing, or just excessively speeding which is obvious, I often think "Good! I just hope no one else got injured or killed". If anyone feels the need to compensate for a small penis by racing around on public roads they deserve what is coming to them!
Is it only me who looks at those and thinks there must have been a fellow human being in that car... and in all likelihood they are no longer with us or if they are they are in a bad way. I also assume these people must have families and wonder what it would be like for them to receive them in the mail or see them on a forum.
In this case if the he/she was racing on a public road and the crash only involved the driver all I can say is thank goodness the stupid git can no longer risk the lives of innocent law abiding road users or pedestrians.
Just because he's 'human' doesn't qualify pity as a default reaction IMO.

See my post above which agrees exactly with this sentiment.... Here -
... sad, really sad ...
"It was in Rustenburg, was told about it when I was there yesterday. Apparently a young guy wanted to do a top end run on that road to show off to two younger kids. The road is straight for long then has a tight bend, he went straight into a few trees. Driver survived, wasn't even admitted to hospital, just checked out and sorted for a broken nose. The other passengers exploded on impact. Yup, that's what they said - EXPLODED!"
