It's not just 4chan, but several other high profile sites. The problem is that just about all South African ISPs transparently tunnel their users through a HTTP proxy. When one user then misbehaves and gets IP blocked, it affects all users from the same ISP.

Telkom bandwidth does this due to their transparent proxies. WA bandwidth works fine for me.

Just use an 'anonymising proxy' - works for most blocked sites...

Telkom [-]bandwidth[/-] does this due to their transparent proxies. WA [-]bandwidth[/-] works fine for me.
