Hey Forum Goers! :)

I have been looking around for uncapped 384k accounts and found Imagine-IPS. I was impressed with some of their prices until I found out that they only allow 1 concurrent session. A friend and I are looking to purchase 1, uncapped 384k account that allows 2 concurrent sessions. We will share this account and pay half half.

Can anybody please link me to a good ISP that has uncapped 384k offers that allow more than 1 concurrent session?

Thanx And Cheers!

:)

Guy, we offer an uncapped service for 384k connections.

However, I can assure you that no ISP offers 2 concurrent connections on uncapped ADSL.

Interesting. How much are you guys charging for the uncapped 384k? Can't seem to find a price (or am too blind :p )

I think they have the 384kbs option on a special deal.

Whats the difference between having to concurrent connections and just using internet sharing?

Could we maybe pay an extra sum of money to open up another concurrent session? Please? Just for us? :p

It wouldn't make sense to allow concurrent logins on an uncapped account... that's like two friends going to Panarottis and sharing a bottomless pizza deal. Sorry.

My brother-in-law has an uncapped account, I find torrent I would like to download and he does so as a favor. I believe many people do the same thing. Would the bandwidth consumption really go up by that much if you allow concurrent accounts? If I were to share an uncapped account with my parents, they would pay half and use it for nothing more than email. If I were to share it with one of my friends in town we would not download duplicate content, since 384k is too slow. Our consumption would not be more than someone with a 4mb/s account. Bottomless coffee works since a person can only drink 10 cups before they start feeling sick of the whole affair. I tried it. The same applies to uncapped international accounts. Reconsider it.

Its just bad business practice, nice for the consumer but at the end of the day there are costs involved with being an ISP and I would imagine that its fear for running at a loss that stops them from running concurrent connections.

This is just ridiculous. It is no different from asking for two accounts for the price of one. If you are willing to pay more, then buy two accounts.

can't ye set up a proxy.. then again it would be limited to uplink speed and do double traffic.

Bottomline, it not going to happen.

Get your parents a 1gb local band. account and you use the uncapped account.

Sorry
