3Com OfficeConnect Hub with DSL-300T

I have the Hub with two PC's connecting to it. Now I want to put the DSL-300T onto the hub and allow both PC's to use it to connect to the net.
The Main PC will do the broadband dial, and the second PC just use Internet Sharing.

The DSL-300T does not show on the Hub when I plug the cable in, on any port. But it works fine connected directly to PC. Using it now to type the message here.

Any suggests how to get the Hub to see the modem ?

Use a crossover ethernet cable (the blue cable supplied with the modem), and connect it to an Uplink port on a switch, a hub wont do the job properly.
