Hi there,

4200+ amdx2 socket 939
ASUS 8800GTS 320mb
1Gig RAM
ASUS a8n-sli-deluxe mobo

And I get around 7500 3dmarks in 06 version. With it using all defaults except resolution brought down to 1024x768.

Is this what I should expect with the setup??

Feel free to post your results as well...would be nice to compare hardware.

I lag shytless in Armed Assualt and some other games so thats why Im curious.

I have
4600+ amdx2 socket AM2
XFX 8800gts 320mb
1.5gig ram
Asus M2n-SLi Deluxe

with the drivers that came with card i get 7800 and with the latest nvidia drivers I get 8100 but my resolution is at 1280x1024. Lemme run at 1024x768 quick and i'll see what i get & I also get lag in some games which i shouldn't so I'm also confused

There we go - 1024x768

Total 3D Marks : 8283
SM2.0 Score :3631
HDR/SM3.0 Score : 4117
CPU Score : 1820

So I guess Im not that far off. Will run it again after a reboot and try 1280x1024 default.

I am running "use my preference emphasising quality" on drivers "forceware 158.27"



EDIT: OK with ^^ settings above I get:

SM2.0 Score: 3174
HDR/SM3.0 score: 3248
CPU Score: 1673

= 7054 3dmarks.

:/ I guess thats ok.

2GB DDR2-667 RAM
Intel Westchester G965
Windows XP Professional 32-bit

With default settings:

SM 2.0 Score: 1317
HDR/SM3.0 Score: 1186
CPU Score: 1386

= 3174 3DMarks :( :( :(
 
i get 10400 with 8800gts but thats because of my core 2 i think

also johnny look at getting more ram man

armed asault is heavy on a pc and you need more ram

I can't remember the exact score but I got +- 9000 with 1024 X 786 (no AA)

As I have two different brands of 512 ram at the moment I have to look at getting a whole new 2gig kit.

Being commited to my car payments and other things I can't quite afford to spend on more RAM now, however if any of you know some good deals on 2gig RAM kits please let me know :) DDR400 btw

Bare in mind I don't have credit to purchase online so it must be attainable through wired funds or cash.

Anyone else willing to brag about their benchmarks?? :p

i think most places will let you pay them via EFT

dude there is so much cheap ram around now, just now ddr 400 though

maybe look in the classified section, or the junkmail
 
I also need new ram, sitting with 3x512mb of DDR2 400 server ram but I'm gonna wait till end of year when my sister goes to the US and maybe try for 4gig :D :p

3DMARK06 : 5040 3DMARKS (GeForce 8600GT)
3DMARK03 : 8946 3DMARKS ( GeForce 6600GT 3D1 - sucks)
3DMARK03 : 16606 3DMARKS ( GeForce 8600GT - better)
 
I managed 14k on my benchmark but its prob cause im runnunf the 2,4 core 2 with 2 gig ram and 640 meg 8800...
