3DS Repairs

Hey all,

So the L buttoon on my 3DS XL (not the New 3DS XL one) is busted and I suspect it's my little nephews doing.

The button just jams when I press it, it no longer clicks.

I would send it to Nintendo for repairs, but I got this 3DS when I was living in the UK and its out of warranty now.

Is there any places where I can get it repaired for cheap? Or is there any way I can do it myself?

I don't really wanna spend a ton of money on a new 3DS cause 1 button stopped working.

Whatever you do don't take it to partserve.
Open it up and identify the problem then do as iDos suggested and order the part yourself

So I opened it up and I'm really confused. The button works fine when it's of the case, but the moment I put it back on, it starts to jam up. I don't really see anything blocking it either..

Okay I found the problem. When inspecting the L button, part of the plastic is kind of bent. Is there any way for me to straighten it?

File the opening for the button on the case to make it larger.
