Hi

How does this work when you have both 3G and wifi enabled on your iPad?

Does it automatically disable 3G with a good wifi signal, and enable 3G again when wifi's not in range?

Just want some clarification on this.

TIA

Yes and yes. The iPads prefer wifi, but you'll figure out what works best for you. I have a prepaid VC sim with LTE enabled, and it works much better for me at home where my wifi is not that great.

Before upgrading my router, I made a point of switching off 3G when I arrived home... Was burnt once or twice, thinking I was streaming youtube on Wifi, when the latter had been dropped - and I was actually chomping though my data package...

With the new router, range and signal strength improved exponentially, so no longer an issue. With the good Wifi signal, 3G remains unengaged - and no more surprises.
