I am looking for a 3G SIM card compaitble with a Android 3G tablet bought abroad ?
I recently bought a Viewsonic Viewpad 7 (Android 2.2) tablet in NL. It operated fine out of the box of with SIM cards bought in NL (T-Mobile). I also went to Sint Petersburg, Russia, same thing. SIM cards & voice from MTS worked fine, data and voice. Neither MTN/Vadacom's phone or 3G modem SIMs would give me a data connection on the device, but I have full signal and can receive/make phonecalls.
Would you please recommend a SIM card that does work with the device, is is also (naturally) not SIM locked. I have the Cell C 2Gb x 12month @ R150pm contract in mind. This will not be my primary device as I have uncapped ADSL.
