I'm hoping someone can assist me.

I have a Sony Vaio VPCW219AG netbook with embedded Qualcomm Gobi 2000 3G modem.

The netbook came preinstalled with One Click Internet Dashboard which is designed to allow you to connect to the internet and send and receive sms.

The problem is the application does not work at all, I keep getting and error when opening the app saying "this application has stopped working and will be closed"

This seems to be a common problem with the Sony Vaio and one click internet combination.

Is there another dashboard that I can use that supports SMS for this modem on the Vodacom network?

I have looked at the Vodafone Mobile connect dashboard but it looks like this only supports the Huawei modems.

Alternatively if someone maybe knows of a fix that works for the One click internet preinstalled.

Thanks

Try updating the application/drivers via the Sony website support yet? The HP version works in this way.

Hi Swa, thank you. This would be perfect but does not seem to support my device. I installed anyway to try my luck but it's not picking up my device at all. It would have been exactly what I was looking for. I have already set up an automatic dial up connection, this is not the issue. I'm looking for something which supports either sms, ussd or data usage so I can monitor my usage.

Ivanr I have already tried installing the latest version for One Click Internet (3.0) but this hasn't resolved the issue. Is it maybe possible that there is something else that needs to be installed for the application to work?

Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback. Will persevere
