I'm trying to connect two laptops with a cross link cable. For printing as the one printer is connected to the laptop. We move around alot, so that's why we stay as mobile as possible.
When the printing works between the two laptops and i activate the 3g to go on the internet, it disconnects the whole time. And i cannot connect.
The ip range i use between the two laptop's with the cable is simple
ip: 10.20.0.4
subnet mask: 255.0.0.0
also, when the 3g is on, and i plug in the cable, the lan connection of the 3g software activates, and disconnects the 3g, as it switches from 3g to lan. We are using the most updated vodacom 3g software available. i've looked at the advanced options, but have no idea why it's doing this.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
