3G /edge disapears after call on iPhone

My 4s drops the 3g edge connection when on a call. Most of the times i have to restart or switch cell data off and on to get 3g back.. Any ideas?

Could be the cell tower, phone drops down to 2g for voice? Thereafter it's Apple internal algorithms trying to ensure a connection on the most stable link (time based and also considering 2g stable during your call) ; basically to avoid the constant forward and backward switching.

So option is to possibly log a bug / feature request.

Edge does not run while a voice call is in progress.

3G should though.
