3g Help please

Hi there

Not sure where to start but we looking into getting 3g while we waiting for telkom to install our line.

Things I would like to know can I use my phone as a 3g modem(it has a 3g lil icon next to my signal bar) and let everyone connect trought it?
Or do I need some special card/modem to use 3g?

Can I use bluetooth to my pc then share it so that 2 other pc can use the connection?

Looking to use gconnect as the isp or is there better deals out there?

You can use your phone modem, it's a normal dialup-connection that you share for others on your LAN.

gconnect? MTN or Vodacom are your ISP. Buy a data bundle if you're on pre-paid.

Actually you buy airtime and convert it to data, you don't have to though, it just works out cheaper that way.

yeh man, that's what I used to do.
dial *111#

250mb = R139
500mb = R189

it's kinda expensive, but it does it's thing if u need to check mail n stuff.
otherwise i would recommend picking up a 2nd hand HSDPA modem somewhere on the internets
