Hi there

I'm using the above card on an IBM ThinkPad running Slackware Linux with the following setup. Both in Rondebosch (CT) and the city centre, my connection is rather unreliable and drops frequently, even if I setup 3g preferred (ie accept either gprs/3g) etc. I've tried so many config changes I've lost count. Strangely, the ppp connection never gives me a remote IP and pppd defaults to using 10.64.64.64. I have to setup DNS cache IPs in my /etc/ppp/ip-up script (run once a ppp connection is successfully established). It appears to have become worse over the past week and I'm often only able to connect after several attempts.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks
Dale
