Hello

I took out my 3G sim card and inserted it in my N70 when it started up, I got the msg on top saying 3g and HSDPA enabled. Now when i connect i only get 115kbs? very slow.

Is there something else i need to do to have the function fully supported on my phone?

pitty cellc doesn't support 3g broadband yet :(

cheers

How do you know you're only getting 115Kb/s?

If it's the Windows connection message, you can probably ignore it. Rather run a speed test and see what speed your getting.

when I connect with windows connection it tells me 115kbps surely it must be higher? what can i do to sort this out?

get new settings for my phone?

As V3g says it just windows indicating 115kbs - you are actually getting more there is nothing you have to do.

Yes, it's a pre-defined text message and not an actual speed test. We had a bug in one of the Data cards that reported 200-odd speeds while the actual speed was 1.8Mb/s.

Rather do a speed test or do a download and watch the data throughput indicator at the bottom of the dashboard.

Get yourself a meter like DUMeter and you can draw nice graphs on throughput.

ok, seems like the speeds are both very slow on cellc and vodacom 3g when have that inserted in my phone. musn't there be any settings that have to be activated to use 3g hsdpa on my phone?

our phone line 28.9kbps connects faster :(

hello, did that and it seems to me it doesn't even open the web page halfway
