Hi
I've had ADSL for one month now, and whilst I'm not happy with the speeds, I'm satisfied with the 3GB cap. I downloaded everything I wanted to in the first month, and still didn't fill up my cap.
The only way I can see that some of you fill up your cap, is by downloading entire DVD's, which are at least 800MB each, and others who download computer games, which are also 800MB.
For the average user, who downloads MP3's and stuff, I'd say that 3GB is sufficient, but for all you warez "junkies" I don't think it is sufficient.
I can see why Telkom has the cap in place, because if there wasn't a cap, people would abuse the service, leave their pc's on all month and download 500GB a month, thus hogging the service, and adversely affect the service for everyone else.
Now although I say 3GB is sufficient, I could maybe do with 5GB, but i still don't see how I'd fill that up.
Could all of you who download over 3GB, please tell me what you download so much of?
