I remember reading somewhere to average 60MB per hour for BF2, that will vary depending on how many people are on the server ( 32 or 64 ) ... but use that as a rough guide.
Similar other Online games on average use a lot less per hour ( +-20MB ), but from the look of things online games are going to get heavier, with a cable/DSL connection required ( such as with BF2 ).

The accounts are shaped but there's guys that offer Proxy/Socks accounts to get past that.

So yes the 3 Gig shaped should be enough for playing that amount of games and leave you with some browsing, some p2p, etc. But since it's Telokom not much though - idiot Telkom

The 4Gig unshapped will also be an option, depending on your budget. I would recommend going 4 the 3 gig shaped and using one of the above Free/donation services.

The normal 3 Gig account is fine for BF2 on the local saix servers.
There are hordes of people doing it that way.

BTW, if local is still uncapped and you play on local saix servers, you can play as much as your want.

I worked it out to 35-40 megs/ hour. that makes about 90 hours solid play a month...
