%##&@!* 3gig cap reporting wrong ???

i got adsl 512 this month...

and i upload alot, now where is my beaf..

i have the 3gig cap option from stupidmofodic*skom , and i get daily bandwidth reports....i get the 20% warning one

where it says i have 507 mb left before the cap bites my nutz then the next day {today} i get this one

the combined total is over 3 gigs yes, BUt do uploads count as bandwidth usage ?

i dont have an issue with that , just why did it say i had 500mb of bandwidth left ??? i mean this is just stupid ...

now is it me ? or did all the international site use have server crashes ?

Any traffic that passes through your router or modem counts towards your cap, even the traffic you dont ask for like port scans ec

ok i can accept that ... but why then did i only get my 20% left warning yesterday ... ? ? ? ? ? surly somthing is wrong there .?

well it is telkom, and somthing is wrong pretty much every where, but still

Hmm looks familiar. I also got the same error. Only noticed it now that you mentioned it but if you take a look at the email below that i got from telkom this morning you will see the same stuff up. 558 megs left my ass!

We have to tolerate such sh*t on a daily basis and yet we still get to laugh bout it

Take into account that user account consumption is only calculated at midnight I think, so it possible to over use your 3gb and get strange usage stats, depending on when they total the acount , and when the mail is actually sent to you

yeah but i got an 80% warning with 500megs more to go the one day , then i downloaded a 80meg mp3 (a dj set, so legal) then bang, who is your daddy no more international browsing,...

i tried to phone stupiddlckkom and after 20mins on hold i gave up ...(yeah i know pointlss, but i am really cheased off with this stupid cliche)
