Just bought a Nexus 7 and it's updated to 4.2.2. I was looking at some of the new features and one is adding users. Anyone played around with adding users in 4.2.2?

I can't see any way to share apps between the users. It looks as though each app must be installed for each user (and repurchased). Am I right?

Is there anything else new on the upgrade?

You can always copy and paste the .apk?

Apps are independent of the accounts, as are pictures in the gallery and other stored data. From what I can tell, it actually creates virtual sandboxes for each users' storage partition, keeping all content separated.

You were able to have multiusers on 4.2.1

I've been using 4.2.2 on my S3 for the past 3 weeks or so. No major differences to 4.2.1

I don't see the need for multiple user accounts on a phone. On a tablet, yes but on a phone it makes no sense.

If your children wants to play games on your phone and you don't want them to see your "intimate moments" pics, or they accidentally phones your boss.

Let me guess....you're single, right? :)

FWIW, I've set my missus up as a user, with her Google email address. I then added my Google address as 'another account' and was able to download apps without having to pay for them again. I switched off all the syncing to my account under her user so my gmails etc don't mess her around.
