First off, I apologize if this has been asked before but I need some advice

I currently a Premium subscriber and have the original PVR supplying 2 TV's in my house. I would now like to add DST to 2 additional TV's so that all 4 TV's can watch their own channel.

My questions:
1) Is this even possible?
2) Would this require that I install a quad LNB?
3) If it is not possible, is by best course of action to get a HD PVR and settle for 3 channels and then split one to the 4th TV?
4) Would 3) require a quad LNB?

Thanks in advance

1) Is this even possible?
Theortically yes if you could find another SDPVR, each running on its own premium package. Unfortunately they are very scarce, don't think most want to part with theirs.

Same thing could be achieved with another pair of 1311 decoders in Xtraview, but would still require 2x premium packages.

2) Would this require that I install a quad LNB?
Or 2x4,2x6,2x8 multi-switch, depending on setup

3) If it is not possible, is by best course of action to get a HD PVR and settle for 3 channels and then split one to the 4th TV?
If you only want to pay for one premium package, then unfortunately best you will get is 3 independent viewing environments

4) Would 3) require a quad LNB?
As per 2.

Thanks for the speedy reply - some more questions I'm afraid :)

If I go for option 3) with 3 x IVE, would I be able to control the 2nd decoder from both TV #3 and TV#4?

Also, would this mean that I have to pay additional monthly charges for Xtraview?

I don't really know much about LNB's - which would be the best for my setup?

You already pay for PVR and XtraView is included in that. You already have a twin LNB, so you just need a 2x4 multiswitch, a HD PVR 2P and someone to set it all up for you.

You can control all decoders from all the Tv's if you use the remote eyes

Your only option is to settle with a HD PVR, other wise you will have to pay separate subscriptions, You will need a MUltiSwich/Quad LNB, the MS is cheaper but the LNB is a better option. Also you will need extra cables and some free time if you doing it yourself.
