Hey,
I'm trying to access a site, but I keep getting a 403 Forbidden error.
It's a login site, but I'm not asked to enter any login information, i just get booted straight onto the 403 Forbidden page.

Any help as to how I can fix this? Or what the cause is?
My ISP is Cybersmart.

403 Forbidden error=means the site in ? wont allow your ip access

is it TorrentBytes by any chance?

Well, posting the link might help, for one...

I'm not allowed to post the link unfortunately.

Is that what it is? So then the Webmaster/Admin would have to grant me acess? It's more of a site where you're only allowed access if you know the link and have been authorised to use it. I have been authorised and yet it fails. Is it something to do with my internet connection setup or due to an Ip error?

And no it's not TorrentBytes.

Is the site local or international? If it is international, is the access perhaps limited to certain IPs?

I think the best bet is to ask whoever is in control of the site! You can only tell us so much about it (and fairly so ;)), so all we can give you is half baked ideas on how to fix it ;)

International. I think it might be limited.
And okay I'll do that, thanks for the help.

Threshhold

I have a telkom internet account and it started doing the same thing on some websites, but not all of them. I found that the local websites like the bank and aardvark were ok - and then my email from telkom came saying that my bandwidth was exceeded. Maybe you have a similar problem with your service providers.

I get that error at times and it could be the proxy, try changing to a different proxy as telkom's proxies have a habit of dying from time to time, also try without a proxy at all and see if it connects.
