Did you read the articles about PLC in scientific journals? There are various reasons why it isn't working just yet...

Bring on the 45 Mbps,
Its all very good and well, but even if that was operational, we'd still be screwed and have the same gripes with Telkom, coz they still don't have enough international bandwitdth to give a user more than 50kbps (if we lucky [])
