Who the heck is 4funchat.com and why am I being spammed by them? I received a link on my cell from them - it appears to be a 'browser' message and has a link in it with nothing else. Should I be worried?

You could contact the website and ask them to remove your number from their database. If they don't comply you can contact your service provider.

NEVER click on sms links. It opens a page in your browser, and you're subscribed and billed.
then it takes jumping through hoops upons hoops to get unsubscribed and by then you've lost out

So what I did...
I copied the link and pasted it into my PC FF address bar, modded it a bit and what do you know... some other poor bugger is likely being billed now. How can they take that as an agreement to be billed???

You go to their site, enter your cell number and get that link - so likely someone tried to sign me up? Fortunately you have to first click the link to sign up. In the case above, by modding the url (just the last few digits), you appear to sign someone else up to be billed R9.99 pm.*

These guys should be shut down.

I agree, but also think if they want to be spiteful, you will be the one suffering... think about it

Can anybody help me, how to unsubscribe a cell number from http://4funchat.com. My son cell got this spam on. I have contacted the service provider but that is not working. He is on contract with MTN provided by Nashua mobile.

These 4funchat.com guys need to be shut down permanently, perhaps I should sign up some directors and families to get it done. Anyone can sign up another user without their consent, it's a scam.
