I am missing 4 gig from my bandwidth.

I only do my downloads in the "Free Zone Session", and somehow when i checked my stats i see i have lost 4Gig overnight.

Plus my router Linksys WRT54 loaded with DD-WRT v24 SP1 is indicating almost 4 gig less than the iBurst bandwidth monitor. :wtf:

please help ......

Where are you checking your usage?

The website seems a bit confusing, a more accurate usage stats comes from the daily usage email [which we missed yesterday...]

Here is case and point:
Today EMAIL:
Data used In-Bundle
Uploaded 618.76 MB
Downloaded 2,107.55 MB
Total In-Bundle Data Usage 2,726.30 MB
Data used After Hours
Total After Hour Usage 7,778.67 MB
Data Remaining?
Total Data Remaining 3,366.70 MB

TOTAL DOWNLOAD:2,107.55 + 7,778.67 = 9886.22

Today on website:
Downloaded 11942.18 MB
Uploaded 627.3 MB
Total 12569.4795 MB
Remaining 3366.70 MB
Purchased 0.0
Carried over 973.0066

As you can see, the total remaining is exactly the same, but the upload and download amounts are different

9886.22 vs 11942.18

So there is about 2GB inconsistancy. I find that the emails reflect my usage more in line with what i see on my side.

Speaking of inconstancy, it seems that the email usage was run twice today, and check this out:

Data used In-Bundle
Uploaded 625.66 MB
Downloaded 2,100.64 MB
Total In-Bundle Data Usage 2,726.30 MB
Data used After Hours
Total After Hour Usage 8,038.12 MB
Data Remaining?
Total Data Remaining 3,366.70 MB

Uploaded and Downloaded have changed (my download amount went down!).

It seems that bug of Downloaded = Remaining - uploaded is still around.

I only check my usage on line.

I don't get the email stats so i cant tell exactly but i know i had like 9.??Gig left last night when i checked at 10:00PM and this morning i had 5761.06 MB remaining.

I don't think it's possible to clock 4Gig in 8hrs on my connection as i have been getting a max 2Gig during the free time.
Even if i managed to pull 4Gig on 8hrs between 00:00 and 08:00 it's supposed to be free.

So the only conclusion i can make is that my password got into the wrong hands, or the metering system went for a ball of snott ....

What about windows updates and such?

Auto updates are disabled as i was using 3G since December 2009.

Online isnt that good, but the amount remaining is mostly correct either way. And you're right, 4GB in a night isn't possible on "free time". But my impression is that you need to link your modem's uid to your account before you can us it (i stand to be corrected), so there should be no real way to "steal" your account without linking it to modem [which i think you need your id number to do]. Definitely query this, hopefully iBurst can say when and "where" that 4GB went away, and even maybe get your bandwidth back

Yeah thats correct you need to register the new modem onto your username.

I am on the phone with helpdesk and they informed me no other modem is registered on my username.
I also changed my password, requested last 7days of bandwidth stats and enabled the daily email.

And logged a ticket for my missing bandwidth.

I have now received the data for the last 7 days, and by the looks of it ... somehow i managed to move 3.4Gig of data :wtf: but i only DL such quatities between 00:00 and 08:00. Thus it looks like the metering system monkey didnt press the button for my account ........

will not compair my router stats with their stats when i get home .....

But all in all i have lost 3.4Gig of data without me knowing it ...

Bubbles must've messed up pretty bad. I logged in last night at 00h03. I wrote down my "total" and "remaining", downloaded, logged in this morning and my "remaining" didn't move.

I blame Bubbles on this one...

Luckily i am not capped ...:D

Just press the F5 button a couple of times.

The iBurst website still hasn't been sorted.

itBust are notorious for their utter inability to correctly tally bytes 'consumed'/'used' or just generally gone through the account. Similar to the OP, I have UTDs going through routers running dd-wrt and in *NO* way do the numbers these cretins thumbsuck tally with the numbers the routers show as having actually gone through them. Typically I can count on them to be out to between 2-3gig - and, of course, it's to OUR cost (id est have used more) - all the better to push us into having to buy top-ups ..no guesses for guessing our response (ok, uncapped ADSL for the same money really was too good an offer to pass up!)

As all things does come to an end.

Special thnx goes towards RooiGevaar: MyBB rep, and Kagiso Mere: Advanced Tech Support.

Between these two they have manged to re-locate my 4Gigs from file 13 back into my iBurst account.

Thank you.
