4K Netflix content now available on Windows 10

Dunno about the rest of you but I didn't buy that expensive tv & set up a media centre to watch content on my pc..

If the phone rings it's the 00's wanting their outdated viewing method back.

uugh, edge.. i get a WHOOPS on edge, while it works on other browsers.
 
As a reminder, 4K Netflix only works on Edge currently because the DRM requirements are quite stringent. Chrome, Vivaldi, and Opera maxes out at 1080p, and Firefox supposedly stops at 720p. HDCP 2.2 comes with a bunch of restrictions, and only the EdgeHTML engine supports everything.

I've never heard of the Kaby Lake requirement before, though - must be something to do with Intel's H.265 support in drivers, which Edge might not recognise on AMD and NVIDIA hardware.

Edit: Oh, and Internet Explorer 11. That also will do 4K streaming with HDCP 2.2 compliant hardware.
