4MB uncapped users, please let me know if this is normal.

OK - here's the thing.

Skype works now (sort of, still wobbles).
Browsing works (slow)
Mail Downloads (Works fine)
Gaming Local (unusable - local pings vary from 30 - 700ms WTF)
Gaming International ( Even more buggered - starts at 600 spikes to 8000)

Strange thing is that even other Axxess 4mb users like me (Steam friends list) have pings fine out of the country. I mean the maintenance is aparently done. So why the heck is my internet still borked ?

Has it always been like this on 4MB or is it an issue that just came up after your internet was working fine?
 
My local pings seems to be stable around the 50ms mark. Thats going from KZN to Jhb. International pings to both the USA West coast and Germany range from the mid to high 300ms (340-390) on average.

There is the odd occasion of going over 400ms internationally, but as I said, these are my averages. I can post tests if need be.... just really tired :)
 
No only since the seacom crap has it been this bad. Ironically - it's worse than when I had connection during the maintenance. It was working fine untill about a coupla days ago.
 
How many gigs have you done on your account? Could be a result of throttling?

(assuming you are on an IS account and not Express)
 
I'm on IS - I think with all steam purchases this month probably 60-100 GB's. I mean Starwars: Force unleashed alone was 30GB.
 
Ok this is weird - Everything else seems to fine. Now the only thing that's still buggered is the international pings for games. They are all way to high. Pingtest gives a "F" rating when pinging a server in New York. Any ideas ?
