Hi all would like some info, I have currently a 4meg premium adsl combo would like to know what's the limit of my line, for example if my wife is on Facebook and I'm busy on the computer listening to SoundCloud it will buffer or if watching dstv online and scrolling through Facebook dstv will buffer? Is it expected from a 4meg line? I did a speedtest and my line and latency looks fine.

Yup.. 4meg is not a lot in this day and age.. Also remember that, if you have your smartphones connected to WiFi at home, they would also contribute to usage in addition to what you and your wife are doing on the internet..

Sounds about right, 4 megs isn't a lot anymore and I think DSTV requires 2 to 4 meg for it to play. Also it really depends on what settings you've got soundcloud set to.

Your problem could be that your exchange is congested. You could try running a speed test during peak times to confirm. I used to only get about 4Mbps on my 10Mbps line during peak. Also i bet if you could try using those same applications after 10Pm that they would run fine.
