Item name:Have the generator a couple of years ,used only a couple of hours.
Age and condition: Couple of years ,mint condition and just replaced the battery.

Was standing next to her wall by her TV,so it canceled each other out ,can watch TV with the power ,but can't hear anything.lol

On a serious note ,I just made the enclosure to weather proof it.
Yep, it looks good for that, quite innovative actually. I like the use of the steel frame and IBR roofing, similar to the 50s and 60s outdoor coal storage that were made from brick and a sinkplaat roof. We knew how to keep our coal dry (something that Eskom seems to have to learn). And I have seen far worse enclosures for gennys.
 
Can I buy just the enclosure?
I have a similar need to yours (weatherproofing while not in use) and this could save me the trouble of building one myself... Noise isn't a consideration in my case so could work well.

That could work ,was looking at 1k for the enclosure.
 
When I run/ran the genny I opened the sides for airflow, that is why all sides can open, except the back.

Holes can be drilled for air intake and exhaust fumes. Would probably make a difference in the noise level.
