5 violent attacks linked to violent games

Yea sure, lets shift that blame, the games did it! Not the person that perpetrated the act, heck no... the games did it. Bad games, bad! Luckily since we cannot send games to jail so the perpetrator would have to step back in and bear the punishment.

I love how eg. in the manhunt case, they try to blame manhunt based on the weapon that the murderer used.
 
Maybe they should ask Oscar Pistorius if he played violent games. Something like Hitman ... Then his defense can blame IO Interactive
 
Not sure about the first one but of the 5 there's a 13, 14 and 17 year old ...playing 18+ games, yes?

Quite common I'm told. Friend told me just yesterday how his kid's friends at school play games that they should not be (based on age restriction). The kids are around 11/12.

Very common. Maybe the 18+ sign is just there to make the game more attractive to the kids under 18.

Not everyone is a ninja like you. And not everyone has parents that don't care what games they play.

Even me, but I think it comes down to the maturity level of the child playing.

Parents need to take more notice of what their kids are playing (hint : games are not limited to Tetris and Pacman anymore)
