Sorry PB, this load shedding is one thing but we have been hammered in Fourways, Sandton, off most of yesterday.
Its back up, Dwayne from CI contacted me shortly after logging a fault but I could not test via cable again as we had no power.

I had a similar experience with a WiFi connection and discovered it was because reconnection after loadshedding had picked up a 2.4GHz connection instead of 5GHz. Once switched back to 5GHz the speeds went back to normal.

Also recently added a 5Ghz WiFi dongle to a PC that only supplied 2.4GHz and had the same speed increase.
