Hi I am busy setting up a website for myself. I followed all the tutorials I found on the internet, but still getting a problem.

First, I tried this with IIS that come with WinXP Pro and with Apache HTTP server software both not working
I did get a hostname from DYNDNS and did all the settings on my router.

I did the NAT settings in my router.

My problem is this....

I can access the site from the other pc's in my network by using the webserver pc's ip for example: http://192.168.0.250/index.html

But when I tried the site from a pc not on the network with a dial-up connection for example http://www.myname.dnsalias.net it comes up with the following error...

Access Denied - Something about not being in the Access Control list or something.

Any advice please.....

What F/W version you running? If it is 2.7.0.9 then you a bit screwd cause that version has problems with the port forwarding.
