Yes, telkom wimax is just the link, you use your own isp with it like regular adsl.

I was saying we all get 512k connections and that's it.

Can't something be done about this? an article on MyBB maybe? something to create awareness, maybe a survey of how many wimax subscribers would pay (granted a free bump up in speed would be first prize) to get the speed that our copper friends get, then maybe Telkom would look at the effort/profitability ratio and realise it will be a worthwhile exercise.
