5800xm alarm issue

does anybody else have issues with there alarm on this phone, i've got the latest firmware i think (no available update on network MTN) and my alarm is set for weekdays only BUT it goes off on sat and sun as well ! very annoying. i double checked the setting and it is correct.

any advice or info ?

O dear, does this bring back memories Had the same problem on my Nokia E51, I eventually gave up and just set individual alarms for every week day. Must be a Symbian bug

PS Now that I come to think of it, it had to do with the fact that I switched my phone off on Friday evenings, don't know if you do the same.

I've never even used the default alarm. Try and get a third party app. like Handy alarm. It works great on the 5800.

Alarm Issue: hard reset the phone. do a search on symbian-freaks

I have never seen that bug on N-Series phones so I am not sure if it is a Symbian bug.
