5Fm had an online vote over the weekend asking which console the people want....

Suprising result maybe?

1. Microsoft Xbox 360 52%
2. Nintendo Wii 21%
3. Sony PlayStation 3 18%
4. I'm not a gamer 10%

Ouch Sony.... That must hurt :)

Thats a point...
I think the Wii, if marketd properly, has the potential to take over this side considering cost.
 
what about option 5 - 5FM sucks?

I'm waiting for a Wii/360 combo pack. :)
 
a point of concern though - in the latest FHM the mention all three consoles ant the Wii is listed as having the same selling price as a 360 - that's not right, is it?
 
The Nintendo Wii is the cheapest out of the 3. Also, how many times do you hear them mentioning X-Box and such on the show? A LOT!
 
There's no definite price or date on the Wii yet, so far we have the dubiously tenuous "8th-28th December" & "R2000-R2800"

If the Wii is priced like all the other Nintendo stock, it should be R2500, and games will be ~R500. Kudo's to MS for bringing the 360 core in for R2700!
 
259$ I Heard last,thats just under 2k in rands

so doobs is prolly right,im going for R1900 - R2300 and games R400,which simply makes this console probaly the best to own in SA cost wise ofc.:rolleyes:
 
I preordered at liksang (who went bust, thanks to $ony) and then through BTGames.
 
Yeah well look at what they are carging for the console, nevermind the games. They should have added PC in there as well! Then you'd see a vote;)
