Can anyone that has the R499 package from let me know if I would only be able to stream at 720p if I get this package?

Doesn't seem to be enforced always. It depends on what app/service you're streaming from. You may get 1080p from some providers/sources.

I'm streaming Netflix, Britbox at 720p on this option with no problems!

Is it capped at 720p or is it possible to stream at 1080p
Officially, video is throttled to 720p on Basic. Rather get the Standard or Premium package if 1080p is important to you.

I have never tried higher that 720.
