For those interested, the Telkom 5G coverage maps are live...check on your desktop though as the coverage map is unusable on a smartphone

I think they are first launching FWA, but that was suppose to happen on the 17th already...mobile apparently waiting for device manufacturer approvalSo what exactly is required for 5g to work? It's not picking up on my 5G devices

These are the indoor 36-month plans...very overpriced IMO. 24-month also available for more $ and outdoor router bundled for even more $$. Was expecting better than this...

Very overpriced considering the 2TB capped sim is R699 although they did go with the expensive Huawei Max3

I don't think I will see Telkom 5G coverage in my area soon.
Rain has coverage and from test It's not bad in my opinion.
Just the R999 price and the shaping they do makes it not ideal.
Let's hope they allow access to 5G on all sims.
I hope they reconsider CA and allow it for their network.
I expect they doing a 5G only thing with these plans and routers with a 5G sim do not connect to 4G.
