You can connect an analogue / cordless telephone to the modem and use it dial phone numbers via the simcard in the router. As far as I know Rain is a data only network, so the sim card may not be provisioned for phone calls. Some routers have built-in voice over ip functionality which will allow you to place calls over the data network. It will require you to setup the voip login details on the router before you can make and receive calls.

Rain has their own firmware on the H112 and VOIP is not enabled unfortunately.
