5v Wireless N Access Point - Please help me find this beast!

I'm in search of bigfoot.

What I need is a Wireless (preferably N) Access point that

a) Has an input of 5V (up to 2A)
b) Must be able to run in AP (Access Point) mode. Bridge Mode is optional.
c) Must have replaceable antenna

The option of using a 5v-12v converter is on the cards, however, that will complicate the job (and make it more pricey).

Current unsuitable findings:

D-Link DAP-1155 - Antenna not removable, standard antenna not suitable for application
D-Link DAP-1360 (Hardware Version C1) - Absolutely PERFECT, however, it's been discontinued :confused::cry::cry:
D-Link DAP-1360 (Hardware Version F1) - New version of above - 12v input...

Please let me know if you can assist in finding this mythical creature....
 
Not sure about the Input voltage, but have you had a look at the Asus n66u?

On this unit, the power supply has a DC Output : 19 V with max. 1.58 A current

As amazing as that unit is, unfortunately, a 5v in put is critical. Thanks for the suggestion!

Not at all.

I need it to connect to a data controller on a vehicle, in order to download data from this vehicle while it is in operation. The data controller supplies 5v.
 
The D-Link DAP-2950 is 5V at 2.5A. Do you have any wiggle room in your power specs?

Alternatively would it be possible to split the power input to the data controller and regulate the one line to 12V for the DAP-1360?

To move to split the input to 12v is an option that I am looking at for the future. The current solution I'm looking at has to be time efficient as well, which is why I am trying to find the simplest solution.

The Access point you've mentioned looks perfect spec-wise. But, I am not too sure the access point will be happy with the 2A supplied from the controller? Here, I am not an expert though. I'll look into it.
