Damn telkom, i have moved home and have applied for my existing adsl line to be transferred. You know what those mot*%%r Fu&83rs told me 6 - 8 weeks. Kiss my ass, that nearly two (not one but two) months. Oh but I bet they will still want their R 300 come the end of the month. 6-8 weeks. hell no, if telkom man would pull his finger out his ass I am sure it could be done sooner. damn the man

I went through the same thing. I kicked up a fuss when they wanted to charge me for an outdoor transfer. Eventually I got them to credit me. It does take forever though :(

Took a year to get DSL in at our offices and then a month ago the cables got stolen. Phoned a couple of times but the person on the other end of the line could speak English one out of about five times. Then they say that the whole area is down and that they are working on it. No indication of how long it will take, or when it will be finished.

This is the only company on earth that has made this kind of money out of ripping the ar$e out of a country. The CEO was paying himself 11 million a year I recall reading some years ago. ... Nice.

We try not to support telkom as much as possible. On Iburst at the moment but moving over seas soon. Telkom is only the tip of the ice berg of SA's problems.
