Telkom Germany and Arcor have introduced since the 1st of March a 6 MB/512 DSL including Flatrate and no cap for 49.95 Euro. (1 Euro = 7,90 Rand).
From summer onwards (July in Europe) introduction of a max. 45 Mb/2 MB Flatrate for an "affordable price". It will be available at present time only in towns up to 200.000 population, but will be availble for all at the end of 2005.

To secure and generate this conditions new outdoor DSLAMS will be introduced as well for "glasfibre cables and too long copper cables"

This are the latest news from the CEBIT in Hannover!!!

What a dream....

More proof of Telkom SA's rip off. The thing that annoys me most is the fact that we're a poor country but get charged an arm and a leg for broadband. Damnit!

Uhm... I believe Telkom said that their target market was the rich people with money to burn. They don't give a flying feck about the poor peeps.
