I am a little suspicious of these kind of sensational YouTube talks that go viral as this did. For example, at the beginning he makes the case that a chronic low level of alcohol consumption causes neuronal damage, but cites a single study that he points out doesn‘t differentiate between chronic or binge drinking as it only deals with daily averages. Also, if you pay careful attention, while he sounds like he’s making forceful scientific points, a lot of the language is very loaded. I‘m not an advocate for alcohol abuse by any means, however, as much as Huberman claims he’s not trying to demonize alcohol a critical ear might conclude that his rhetoric is designed to do just that.A lot of recent stuff on alcohol indicates it's not really good in any amount.

Look, I love booze, but it's important to look after your health. That’s why whenever I've been drinking, I also try to do something healthy like eating a whole pizza (vegetable toppings and calcium in the cheese) or having a few cigarettes (helps you relax and might slow down the rate at which you're taking in alcohol).
It’s like you’ve never heard of coke.I find mixing alchol with a Monster or Dragon also helps getting out of bed quicker, pretty sure if you replace your morning coffee with this success will be around the corner.
