.

As far as I know, they do not offer the full service with Hosted Exchange.

They only offer the additional (optional) services, like: Archiving, Filtering, Continuity, etc.

Talking from the other end of the spectrum...

I've dealt with Mime****s in the past ... they play hardball when it comes to filtering...

I recalled an MTU issue that was once had between their servers and an ISP... it took 3 months to resolve... They have some decent services for sure... You probably just need: Re: Inflicted - Archiving, Filtering, Continuity etc

On the other hand... locally hosted exchange for what reason?

Side-note: Whatever happened to Postini :/

Have Mimecast at work.
I have seen better e-mail systems. Its potentially the worst solution out there.
Works just barely.

Then it's not set up correctly. We have Mimecast at four of our customers and it works great.

I have to agree with Crowley.

Strictly speaking, you can also bring 365 (mail) / Google Mail within PoPI compliancy, although not 100% due to the data still being available outside SA. The only negative here is the added price by utilising Mimecast, otherwise it is a strong service.

Well, they offered us an Exchange Offsite solution, so yes, they can. (Can't remember if they partner with someone) Was a bit expensive (for us at least) so it's still onsite for now.

Potentially the worst solution???? No sir, it's the best in the world. Nothing else comes close.
