very annoying:
switch on the laptop....fire up the vodafone mobile connect software..click mobile , and whala - error 618 - port is disconnected.
if i try a reconnect - it either connects 100% or i receive a 618 again..
also sometimes when i have an ok authentication - the connection is dead - can't ping anything - or surf anything.
have got ADSL too and NO problems at all when i use this on the same laptop - so its not a local DNS issue or windows files bugged by spyware ect.
its not a restart problem - since it (3g) sometimes starts first time without issues.
so its a case of not connecting correctly each time first time...
