Does anyone know if you can use other GPS software with the 6210 like TomTom, Route66 or Garmin Mobile XT? Thanks for the help :D

Garmin. Yes.
AFAIK, TomTom is a no-go.
Route66 aswell.

Look on the forums for details on map downloads/updates...
Need to purchase the software to enter the serial, I think.

BTW, choose the Symbian S60 3rd Edition map update download...

:)

Ok so I found out I can't get the 6210 Navigator on the Mycall 100 package or on MTN for that matter. How does the Samsung I560 compare to the 6210?

I'm weary of Samsung phones. Both my brother's D900i and my E250 have a sent messages bug, that apparently "can't be fixed"...

I had a Nokia, and to this day, still works faultlessly...

I'd go with Nokia...

EDIT:

Why not the 6110 Navigator? The 6210 Nav has minor updates to the 6110... Camera and compass (I think).

:)

I'm looking at the 6110 Navigator but I see the 6210's screen is a little bigger. I guess .2 inches isnt really that much.

Too many options :P All of the phones seem great. Will have to weigh my options with this. Thanks for all the advice. :)

The phone comes loaded with Route66 version 7 (Mobile7)

I got the 6210 navigator this weekend from my brother. It comes with Nokia Maps not Route 66. The 6110 that I have came with Route 66.

I HATE this new 6210. I dont know much about how the GPS stuff works on phones, but on the 6210 it uses your Internet connection to do the navigation while the 6110 did not. That is a very expensive option, especially for someone like me who has zero sense of direction :o :)

The 6210 GPS software is also only licensed for 180 days (well the one I got was, I dont know if its wilth all of them). The 6110 does not have such a restriction.

I found the whole build quality of the 6210 really poor when compared to the 6110.

I promptly gave the phone to my wife and I am keeping my trusty excellent 6110. In my opinion, avoid the 6210 Navigator. As some else mentioned, wait for the new navigator, hopefully it will be better.

this is assisted GPS, you can disable this and stay offline and still get around quite well.

as far as the licence of 180 day I agree it sucks, cost for aditional year is about R900
