Do they still make these? I'm trying to find a 64cm flatscreen tv. Doesn't matter what make. Can't find any shop who has in stock, everyone just stocks the 54cm and 74cm it seems.

I paid just shy of 10k for a 120cm Full HD LCD TV this weekend. Why waste time and money on anything smaller ?

I think he is building an arcade cabinet hence the size of the CRT. LCD is also not an option if you want to keep it real ;)

@Retro, maybe look for secondhand or phone tv repair places. None of the brands in this country do 64-68cm, would a 74cm not do?

Another option would be to get hold of the guys that import and service the arcade cabinets.

Looking around for secondhand tv's now. I actually saw a secondhand 64cm tv at Tafelberg Furniture, but it wasn't a flatscreen model. I had a look at the 74cm, but it's a bit too big. I used a 54cm in my previous one, would prefer something inbetween.

Thx for the links, 2 of those local companies I haven't heard of yet, so I'll give them a try. The rest are pathetic. They don't respond to email queries and when you phone them, they're not interested in helping at all.

I buy the rest of the parts like the joysticks, buttons, coin doors etc. from places like Happ and Ultimarc, but it's going to be too expensive to import a big screen.

I tried using the light gun on my old 8-bit NES console yesterday but it seems what they say is true - does not work on LCDs...
