64k Sim Card For 3g

64K only available on contract?

I got a prepaid starter kit for my 6630 to test 3G vs EDGE.

My signal strengths not the best here: -83dB avarage for both Vodacom & MTN towers.

MTN: 12kb/S with very little fluctuation - No disconnections

Vodacom 3G: 24kb/s max. Fluctuation evident. 8kb/s min. Up & down all the time. Yet, no disconnections.

Will 64k card improve this? Is that what is meant with "better stabillity"?

I am sure there was a thread on this but cannot find it.

Got mine in the post today. called 155 and 5 minutes later 64k was active. So far, speed looks good. How are other people finding it?

I got mine a few weeks ago, and it is working well. They told me it would take 2 hours and it was also done in 5 minutes

If you're on contract, you should have received your 64K SIM by now. If not please mail crmoffice as per the external antenna section in the FAQ.

If you're using a bolt-on bundle, the SIMS are still going out. If you've not received one in two weeks time, mail crmoffice.

If you're not one of the above, i.e. you bought the card outright, for example, mail crmoffice.

If none of the above works, mail me.
