Hi, Oky so I now have my 6850 and want to do eyefinity with 3X 23" monitors, I've already got an Samsung 2333TN and was think of buying 2 more. Oky but would it work if I use 1 DVI-D to VGA, 1 DVI-I to VGA and 1 Active DP to VGA to connect the monitors. Thanx

It should work, check the card's manual to be sure..

But why on earth would you want to use VGA converters and not just connect the screens with DVI cables?? I mean sure, the 18th century was fun, but it's 2011 now..

AFAIK you can only have 1 VGA the rest has to be a combination of DVI, HDMI or Displaylink. I bought a 6870 in Dec thinking I could use my 2 x 17inch LG LCD (VGA only). try as i might I could only get 1 working at a time. after some searching and some help on MYBB :) we came to that conclusion - I'll search for the post - http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/286669-Club-3D-6870-issue?highlight=

No. DVI-D is digital only - so you cannot convert it to VGA. I suggest you buy monitors with at the very least DVI connectors, then you can have two on DVI, and the one you have on a active displayport to vga converter.

You can convert the DVI-I to VGA, but not the DVI-D like P924 said. So you will only be able to run a maximum of 1 Analog screen from that card - the same goes for most of the modern high-end graphics cards.
