....

I was planning on buying my GPU, CPU, RAM, Case, HHD and MOBO from america. Now its not your usual shipping scenario we've got here, so here's where it gets tricky. I won't go much into detail with explaining it and I'll try to round it up with these simple questions:

Would I have any problems running american hardware here in south africa? (The hardware I mentioned above btw) Nope

Will there be a problem with my graphics card that involves NTSC and PAL? (The card I'm planing to get is the gtx 970) nope

Would I have any problems with like pins and stuff? It is the same? no problem, pins are the same

Should I only be concerned about my psu and the correct voltage it uses? 240v? your PSU converts our voltage down to the required voltage for the relevant component, you just need to make sure your PSU has enough outputs

see above

Why would you want to import components from america ? .
Always thought components were cheaper here but i have not compared prices with america .
Components in china are about the same price as here .
Once you have added vat shipping and what ever else customs add will it be cheaper ?

Everything will be fine until you require warranty support which would be hell on earth. From a technical standpoint there's no issues.
