6KWh Lithium ion batteries

They don't even know the difference between a kW and a kWh, it looks scammy.

Fishy traits besides the technical specs errors:

Why is an LCD display advertised? That's not exactly a selling point when these types of batteries are typically managed and monitored using CAN bus.

Why is there no manufacturer's name or logo on the front? Is it a "no-name brand battery"? How do you get your 10 year warranty claim paid out if the supplier has disappeared and you don't even know who manufactured the battery?

Only 3500 cycles to 80% DoD - that's not great compared to other LiFePO4 batteries.

Warranty is only valid for 3000 cycles at 70% DoD - also not great compared to other LiFePO4 batteries on the market.

I wouldn't touch it.

It's 120AH at ..50V - So basically that happens to be exactly 6kWh. But yeah... They should have used the correct unit.
Can't really comment on the rest since I'm more or less a pleb on the technical side myself.

I have seen a lot of adverts for these batteries.

They seems to be well priced but I'm sceptical.

Anybody have a view on these batteries?
Forget about the batteries being good/bad. *IF* you receive batteries I will bet they will likely be used at best. IF the batteries are used or actual "second life" batteries they should state that.

Looks similar to many (scam) sites that pop-up when loadshedding starts.

"thewattstorsa" according to their "about us" page was founded in 2013, but whois: Creation Date: 2020-10-28(?). Their headquarter address is given as 2 Peddie Road, Germiston. Google shows that same address as "greenskyenergy" (with a now defunct web site - whois Creation Date: 2020-08-12). Neither thewatsstorsa nor greenskyenergy seem to get much positive feedback other than the reviews posted on their site. According to powerforum the 2 Peddie Road address related sites are suspect.
