7" Android Tablet Under R1500?

My dad is looking for a tablet to primarily use for Bridge Base Online, as well as some news and maybe Skype. At the moment I'm looking at the following:

• Asus MeMO Pad 7"
  [*]Acer 7" WiFi Tablet B1710
• Lenovo A1000

Anything else I should look at?

The ASUS is the better one out of the bunch. Personally, I'd rather look at a Nexus 7 when considering a tablet purchase, but it does extend over your budget considerably.

Yeh I would also say ASUS, the lenovo 7 inch is poor and I bet the Acer not much better..Asus manufacters the Nexus anyway, if im not mistaken, so if the nexus is out of price range ASUS would be the best buy..

My dad is currently using my Nexus 7 2013 to play Bridge so I hope he doesn't get too cozy with it Yeah I think the Asus might be the one to go with.

I second that, it's R500 more at Kalahari.com but worth every penny

You can get the Asus Fonepad HD 7 at R1651 they have a special for it, 1.6 ghz cpu, 5mp camera, 3G, phone calls, it sells at hifi corp and other retailers over R2.7k. A lot better tablet than the ones above, well worth the extra bucks.

My dad literally needs none of those features. Doesn't need 3G either.

At the moment I've got an offer for a brand new Asus MemoPad 7" for R1100 that I'm probably going to take!
