Hi guys,

Quick question; I just got a 7800GT, but the display doesn't come on when it's plugged in. The fan is spinning on the card though. I've got this Gigabyte 360W PSU, could it be that the PSU isn't providing enough power?

Thanks :)

check if it's plugged in properly and try both dvi/vga connecters. Still not working then try it on a bigger psu.

It should only need 300 watt psu and screen should still come on with less power than that.

Ok well I enabled the onboard graphics and Windows detects the card. I'm using a DVI to VGA adapter to connect it to my monitor, could it be a faulty adapter?

Try a different screen with native dvi maybe or a new different dvi to vga adapter

Ok cool, thanks so much Killa for your help. :D I'll get a new adapter tomorrow and see if it works.
